Market Technologies Announces VantagePoint Version 6.3 Release

Wesley Chapel, FL, November 8, 2005 -- Louis B. Mendelsohn, President and Chief Executive Officer, announced today that Market Technologies, a privately-owned, Inc. 500, trading software company, has announced the release of VantagePoint Intermarket Analysis Software Version 6.3.

VantagePoint customers can now apply the software’s nearly 80% predictive accuracy to seventeen brand new markets. Also, the neural networks for ten of the existing markets including the DJIA and the QQQQ have been retrained. Network retraining is performed periodically by the Predictive Technologies Group, the research team responsible for VantagePoint’s development, to maintain and enhance the program’s predictive accuracy.  Additionally, a host of new features have been added to the software to make it faster and easier to install and operate. 

Ean Mendelsohn, Market Technologies’ Sales Manager stated that “the seventeen new markets provide even greater trading opportunities for our VantagePoint customers worldwide.  The Predictive Technologies Group has done an outstanding job to ensure that our customers continue to have the most accurate market forecasts available at their fingertips.” This new version includes the added benefit of a third compatible data provider, Commodity Research Bureau, in addition to the two quality data providers, CSI and Genesis, already supported by the software. Version 6.3 also combines all sixty-nine financial and commodities markets in a single program on one CD, and configures all markets automatically, which allows new customers to get up and running very quickly with minimal effort.

* VantagePoint's accuracy statistics were computed on out-of-sample price data utilizing neural networks trained on both single market and intermarket data and relate to the Neural Index which indicates whether the average of tomorrow’s typical price and the typical price of the day after tomorrow (both unknowns at this time) are expected to be higher or lower than the average of yesterday's typical price and the typical price of the day before yesterday.  The numerical value of the Neural Index, either a one (1) or a zero (0) thereby indicates whether or not the trend direction is expected to be higher or lower for each target market over the next two days.
