New Markets- VantagePoint 7.1 makes predictions for over 600 markets: stocks, commodities, Forex, and ETFs. New markets can be seen below and are denoted with this symbol:
Rollover Contracts- Automatically performs a rollover of expired contracts which are open in a portfolio.
Search by Symbol- Search the Markets Tree by market name or data provider symbol.
“Switch To” feature preserves custom settings- Custom settings are retained when the “Switch To” feature is used to change views.
Use function keys to display different predicted forecasts on a chart:
- F5- High and Low Price
- F6- Short Term Crossover
- F7- Medium Term Crossover
- F8- Long Term Crossover
- F9- Triple Crossover
New options for charting actual data- Plot line on high and/or on low.
CSI data for Metals and Energies is now combined trading session data- In previous versions of VantagePoint, CSI day session data was provided for the metals and energies.
Portfolios area is larger and can be expanded- Allows simultaneous viewing of more portfolio names.
Displays messages which notify you of changes to the actual data- Before creating a new chart or report, VantagePoint scans the actual data and displays a message if changes are detected.
Export Triggers - The Predicted MACD and Predicted Stochastic Triggers are now included on the history report and can be exported into Excel.
Define your own default settings- Save your custom chart or report settings as the default. VantagePoint will automatically apply your custom settings each time it opens a new chart or report. This “one-time” approach to customization saves valuable time. VantagePoint makes it easy to return to the “factory” defaults if desired. You can also quickly restore your original default settings if you made changes that you no longer want to keep.

Chart any combination of predicted technical indicators- View any combination of Predicted MACD, Stochastic, RSI, and Neural Index together on the same chart. For clarity, each predicted indicator is displayed in a separate area and has its own associated heading and scale.

Move the Navigation Pane- Use the new docking feature to move the Navigation Pane to any position on your screen or even to an additional monitor.

Update neural nets to accommodate changing market conditions- All markets now include retrained neural nets for Predicted High and Predicted Low. These new neural nets are more responsive to the most recent trading conditions
