Market Technologies nominated for the Pasco Industry of the Year Award

Wesley Chapel, FL, June 19, 2006 -- Louis B. Mendelsohn, President and Chief Executive Officer, announced today that Market Technologies, a privately-owned, Inc. 500, trading software company, has been nominated for one of the Pasco Economic Development Council’s Industry of the Year Awards.

In its letter to Mr. Mendelsohn, the Economic Development Council acknowledged that Market Technologies has been recognized by the Council as a positive and influential force within Pasco County. Not only has Market Technologies been able to improve and add to the quality of life of Pasco County residents’ through its job creation and substantial capital investment in its new state-of-the-art office building which it relocated to in April, 2006, but it has also been a source of community support through financial and philanthropic charitable contributions. As a nominee, Market Technologies has been invited to participate in the 16th Annual Industry Appreciation Banquet.

The winning organizations will be announced at the Banquet to be held on Tuesday, September 5th 2006 at the world-class Saddlebrook Resort in Wesley Chapel, Florida. Attendance has neared 450 people in prior years, with industry leaders, dignitaries, and local political leaders from Pasco County as well as from surrounding counties comprising the Tampa Bay region on Florida’s west coast. Louis Mendelsohn indicated that “on behalf of Market Technologies and all of its staff he is very honored for the company to be considered for one of the Pasco Economic Development Council’s Industry of the Year Awards and that he looks forward to attending the Banquet in September”.
