Market Technologies participated in the first annual Best Places to Work for Pasco and Hernando counties.

Wesley Chapel, FL, April 2, 2007 -- Louis B. Mendelsohn, President and Chief Executive Officer, reported today that Market Technologies, a privately held, Inc. 500, trading software company participated in the first annual Best Places to Work for Pasco and Hernando counties.

The Pasco Hernando Jobs and Education Workforce Board is sponsoring the event and invited all employers in Pasco and Hernando Counties to participate. The Best Places to Work is a nationally recognized workplace evaluation program. It allows employers to support workforce development, identify the most effective practices for retaining employees, and accumulate employment practices data. It also provides those within the workforce to identify the places to work within their community and educate themselves on local practices.

A survey was created that each participating company was asked to complete which included 37 different areas of employment information. From there, an outsourced non-biased consulting firm calculated the responses to determine the winners.  The organizations that receive the highest cumulative score in all of the weighted 37 categories are awarded The Best Places to Work Awards. “Market Technologies is proud to participate in the first annual Best Places to work for Pasco and Hernando counties,” said Mr. Mendelsohn. “We look forward to future years of participation, as well as the opportunity to share information with other successful companies within our local community.”
