Wesley Chapel, FL, November 5, 2008 – More than 20,000 horses were mistreated or slaughtered in the United States in 2007, a staggering number by any standard.

That startling statistic is the reason behind Market Technologies’ financial contribution to Casey’s Place Animal Sanctuary, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing care to injured, abused or sick animals, with a main focus on horses. Market Technologies sponsored Illyce Mendelsohn at the October 26, 2008, Poker Ride at Lake Panasoffkee fund-raising event that included a horse/rider costume contest, door prizes, raffle, apple bobbing and lunch. Illyce worked at the event in addition to participating as a representative of the Market Technologies’ team.
