Market Technologies is a finalist in the 2007 Inc. Magazine, Inc. 5000 competition
Wesley Chapel, FL, June 20, 2007 -- Louis B. Mendelsohn, President and Chief Executive Officer, announced today that Market Technologies, a privately-held trading software company and 2007 Tampa Bay Business Journal Best Place to Work winner, has been notified that it is a finalist in the 2007 Inc. Magazine, Inc. 5000 competition. The Inc. 5000 competition is an extension for the first time this year of Inc. Magazine’s long standing and influential, Inc. 500 competition which identifies the 500 fastest-growing private companies in the U.S. In 2004 Market Technologies was ranked as one of the Inc. 500 winners thereby establishing its status as an Inc. 500 company. This year, with substantially greater revenue, the firm is competing for its rank among the top 5000 companies nationwide and will be profiled on Inc. Magazine’s website once the winners have been announced. Ranking is based on percentage revenue growth from 2003 to 2006. Mr. Mendelsohn and other CEOs of the companies which rank among the Inc. 5000 winners will be invited to the Inc. 500 annual conference, which will take place in Chicago later this year. “We are very honored to be a finalist in the Inc. Magazine competition”, said Louis Mendelsohn. “It is a distinguishing award that allows individual companies with unique products and services that are in top demand to differentiate themselves from their competition.” Mr. Mendelsohn noted that Market Technologies’ success has been an evolutionary process over the past 28 years and went on to say that he “started this company with a concept, to provide traders around the world with the very best technical analysis tool possible. Through hard work, perseverance and a dedicated work force, we created our firm’s flagship product, VantagePoint Intermarket Analysis Trading Software. The demand for VantagePoint has never been greater among financial and commodity traders worldwide, and I am as determined today as I was nearly thirty years ago to produce the best market forecasting tool for traders.” About Market Technologies
